Hello, I am Suzanne Collins!

I am an American author and television writer. I started my professional career writing for children's television. The first series I have written is The Underland Chronicles which became a New York Times bestseller.

My second series, The Hunger Games, became an international bestseller. This series spent six years on The New York Times bestseller list. These novels were released as film adaptations by Lionsgate starting in 2012 with The Hunger Games, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014), and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 (2015). The entire franchise made nearly $3 billion.

In 2013, I released a critically acclaimed autobiographical picture pook, Year of the Jungle after my first picture book, When Charlie McButton Lost Power in 2005. My books have sold over 100 million copies worldwide.
